Central Park residents have once again been affected by mailbox vandals, causing irreparable damage to the Association's cluster mailbox units (CBU's). On October 25, 2013 there were 4 seprate CBU's broken into. The USPS repaired two of the four, but two are in need of immediate replacement.
The Board of Directors held an Emergency Executive Session meeting on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 where the contract was reviewed for the bid awarded to Hillcrest Construction to replace all mailboxes in the community. Look for more information regarding the mailbox replacements for your property in the coming weeks.
For those affected by the damaged mailboxes on Park Place and Summit Rock, the contractor is coordinating the replacement with the USPS and they should be replaced by this afternoon or early next week. You will need to visit the USPS location on Los Alamos Rd. to pickup your mail in the interim. When you see the new boxes installed you may go to the USPS location on Los Alamos to retrieve your new key and box number.
